Meet The Founders

Dr. Nicolette Cortez

Owner/CEO/Practitioner

Dr. Nicolette Cortez is a seasoned nurse practitioner with an extensive history in aesthetics. She graduated with her doctorate degree in 2019 from Wichita State University and shortly thereafter obtained her Board Certification in advanced nursing practice. Prior to graduate school, Nicolette spent many years as an ICU nurse but has worked in a wide range of areas throughout her 15+ year healthcare career, including duties as medical director of two large medical spas in Denver, CO.


Nicolette moved to Southern Oregon in response to the COVID crisis. After working through COVID-19 in the ICU, Nicolette wanted to leave the bedside/hospital setting and pursue her passion for aesthetics/preventative care. Helping people to engage in taking care of themselves before they become ill is a very important and often overlooked side of medicine. Helping people feel better and look better, thus boosting their confidence, is extremely rewarding.

Robert Cortez

Owner/COO/Nurse

Robert Cortez is a highly experienced healthcare executive & military veteran. He has spent 15+ years in the Health care industry, from the bedside as a nurse to marketing to operations, including executive leadership roles. After the day-in and day-out highly regulated administrative side of healthcare, he was ready to own and operate his own healthcare business, providing excellent preventative healthcare and aesthetic medicine.

Meet The Team

Camille Gutierrez, RN

Camille has been in the medical field for 10+ years. During that time, she has had the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Allowing her to gain a “full picture” experience for patients seeking medical care. She has a passion for community health and providing good, quality care that is synonymous with her patient’s other medical needs.


Originally from Creswell, Oregon, Camille came to the Rogue Valley in 2016 to finish up her Psychology degree from SOU. Then went on to study nursing at OHSU in Ashland. She fell in love with the Rogue Valley and decided to stay here for her career. Camille currently works full time as a Registered Nurse at the local Rogue Valley Surgery Center. Meanwhile, Camille has been in the aesthetic realm since 2020. After meeting Nicolette and Robert Cortez at an injectables training in PDX, it was apparent a collaboration could be fantastic.

Camille enjoys working towards skin rejuvenation and facial balancing, her goal is always a natural refreshed look.


Camille is well trained in all areas aesthetics & wellness, specializing in Botox, fillers, and IV therapy.

Tazmunai Nelson, LE

With over 17 years of experience in the professional beauty industry, I have dedicated myself to providing an exceptional client experience and paying meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of my work. To me, salon services go beyond mere vanity; they serve as a means of self-care for individuals and should be treated as such. I take pleasure in understanding the unique attributes and characteristics of every client who entrusts me with their beauty needs, and I take pride in crafting one-of-a-kind designs to suit their individuality. I thrive on challenges and constantly seek to expand my skillset, firmly believing that growth and learning are integral to success in this ever-evolving industry.

Emily Konkol

As a fellow business owner, and founder of Cheetahpak custom design & packaging, I know what it takes to run a successful small business. Customer service & community relations are vital to client satisfaction, & I firmly believe that the first impression you receive from a business - will be a lasting one. Every client I encounter has their own unique personality & expectations, & being able to connect individually with everyone who walks into the door is something I pride myself on.


Originally from Idaho, I have lived in the Rogue Valley for the past several years & worked in community relations & customer service in a variety of different positions. My husband & I love the outdoors & spending as much time as we can with our fur family including our golden retriever named Farmer & numerous kittens. This Christmas we are expecting our first baby girl & are over the moon excited !

Cierra Vargas, Certified Advanced Esthetician

Cierra Vargas is a Certified Advanced Esthetician with over 9 years of experience in the field of esthetics, including 6 years specializing in Advanced Aesthetics. She has a strong background in dermatology and has served as a licensed educator, sharing her expertise in Advanced Aesthetics with aspiring professionals.



Cierra graduated from Spectrum Advanced Aesthetics in Portland, Oregon, in 2018, and she continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills. She attended the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) conference in Denver, Colorado, in 2019, where she further honed her expertise in the latest advancements in laser aesthetics.

Certified in medical-grade skin care, Cierra specializes in laser aesthetic treatments, offering her clients personalized care and the latest techniques to achieve their skincare goals. Her passion for helping others and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset in the field of advanced aesthetics.

Indigo Cherrick , RN-BSN

Indigo is a Registered Nurse injector & bedside oncology nurse . Indigo proudly holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and over a decade of experience as an esthetician. Currently working towards becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Indigo combines advanced nursing knowledge with a strong background in skincare and aesthetics to deliver exceptional, personalized care. As a mother of three, Indigo understands the importance of self-care and strives to help clients look and feel their best.
